Heartland Pet Resort is a unique country resort hotel for pets. We care for a variety of pets the majority of which being cats and dogs of all sizes. We are conveniently located between Spencer and the Iowa Great Lakes on a paved county road about 3.5 miles West of Fostoria which is just off of HWY 71. Our number one goal is to provide your pet with a pleasurable experience that is safe, healthy and happy. Safe, clean and fun, our country resort is the ultimate pet destination. We offer a unique experience you will not find anywhere else. A quite country setting on nearly 13 acres is a doggie paradise with countless leisure activities for your pet on their stay, customized and professional full-service grooming salon services, and the only training academy in NW Iowa! We also have a specialty boutique with unique and high-quality gifts and toys, supplies and training aides as well as all-natural treats.

The owners of Heartland, Eric and Miranda, have always been so kind to my family, and our dogs! They are quick to respond to messages, send pictures of the dogs, and have also been flexible with their hours in extreme cases.
